Design Engineer (Electrical & Avionics) is responsible for delivering certifiable system designs across the project lifecycle, from initial concept, research, and CAD to aircraft modification and return to service. By developing technical proposals, executing engineering changes, managing regulatory compliance evidence, and collaborating with internal and external partners, this role ensures electrical and avionic integration solutions interface with structural and mechanical domains to meet regulatory standards and agreed project milestones.

1. Coordinate with customers, internal departments, and external partners (suppliers, OEMs) to gather and define initial design requirements.
2. Develop technical proposals in response to customer requirements by conducting autonomous research and engineering studies to identify, evaluate, and define solutions for electrical and avionic system integrations.
3. Develop detailed design (engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation) for aircraft modifications, repairs, and upgrades.
4. Ensure all designs and deliverables meet established performance, safety, manufacturability, and company engineering standards, resulting in minimal rework.
5. Execute Means of Compliance in accordance with the certification plan to demonstrate adherence to applicable certification requirements (e.g., CS-27, CS29).
6. Coordinate with internal departments (stress, testing, configuration) and external partners (suppliers, OEMs, approved labs) to optimise design, conduct expert evaluations, and verify compliance data.
7. Produce justification reports, design analyses, and test documentation to support regulatory compliance and internal quality audits.
8. Maintain traceability of compliance evidence within the Design Assurance System.
9. On -Time Delivery (OTD): Deliver assigned design and compliance outputs in accordance with agreed project milestones.
10. Support production and maintenance teams with design -related queries.

14. Technical Integrity: Verified robustness and reliability of integrated electrical and avionic systems, achieved through standardized engineering practices and expert evaluations.
15. Project Execution: Full lifecycle delivery of project phases, encompassing design, certification processes, embodiment support, post installation conformity verification, functional validation, and return to service requirements.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic (E&E), Aerospace (Avionics), System, Mechatronics, Telecommunications (RF) or related engineering field. BEM or equivalent accredited engineering programme.
2. Experience & Skills Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a DOA environment or similar regulated aerospace setting.
3. Solid understanding of CAAM, EASA Part 21 Subpart J, FAR and applicable Certification Specifications.
4. Experience with CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) and office productivity software.
5. Experience in managing engineering deliverables through project lifecycle.
