I'm one of Griitt's founders, and I want to explain exactly why we built this platform, and why it's completely free for employers. When we launched Griitt, we were absolutely the late entrants to the employment platform space. The incumbents had been around for years, building massive user bases and charging premium fees. But that didn't intimidate us. Why? Because what exists in the market simply didn't solve the real problems that Asian businesses were facing.

We started this journey as frustrated employers who had paid hefty fees to post jobs on platforms that treated Asia as a sideshow secondary market. Platforms from outside the region charged the same rates for a startup in Bangkok as they did for a Fortune 500 company in New York, so how is that an equitable solution?

We figured there were thousands of other businesses across Asia that felt exactly the same way:
"Why should great hiring cost a fortune? Why should innovative companies choose between growth capital and access to talent? Why should the job market favour those with the biggest marketing budgets instead of the best opportunities?"
And so, the roots for Griitt were planted.
How We Compete in a Crowded Market
The employment platform space is absolutely saturated. We know that. Hundreds of competitors, billions in funding, established market leaders with massive reach. So how could we enter late and still compete?

We made a fundamental decision: instead of competing on features or marketing spend, we'd compete on access and values. We made you, our users, our true partners. Our mission became simple: remove every barrier between great talent and great opportunities across Asia. Help businesses grow. Evolve with the incredible entrepreneurial energy of this region.

The Business Model That Makes Sense
Here's how traditional employment platforms work:
Traditional Model
Charge employers $200-500+ per job posting. Additional revenue comes from access fees. The more they charge you, the more profit they make. Customer support costs them money, so they minimize it. But they still have customers.
Griitt's Model
Give away the core platform completely free. Revenue comes from optional premium services (featured listings, advanced analytics, hiring consultation). The more successful hires you make, the more likely you are to use our premium services. Customer success literally drives our revenue.
